    Description

    You are bidding on a 3 piece set
    of Quimper-style
    cup,pitcher and bowl in lightly cleaned, as found condition.
    These are presumed to be 1930s French Quimper-Style Faience Ironstone cup and water pitcher
    Features a yellow band around the rim with Majolica style hatch markings and design of a “Petit Breton” peasants wearing traditional costume, painted in the style of Henriot Quimper. Pitcher and bowl feature dancing couple, cup shows only peasant girl.
    Marked on the bottom "Hand Painted". There are no apparent makers marks.
    Antique estate condition with normal wear for age.  There are no chips or cracks  The cup and pitcher have uniform crazing throughout, shelf wear, and very light staining typical of ironware  The bowl appears to be vintage pottery, perhaps an homage to the original.
    Cup measures approx 3 1/2" tall
    Pitcher measures 6 1/2" tall
    Bowl measures about 5 1/2" wide
