Description
Item DescriptionIt is a base single horn of Hans Heuer Gold Brass before the unification of East and West. The bell is handmade and made in a traditional single piece.
Before the reunification of East and West, it was a very rare instrument because it was mostly gold brass and no singles were made. I have a longing for East Germany, so I got it from a teacher who was studying at that time and used it carefully.
Although it is single, it is made of gold brass, so the tone is not too light and it has a very sweet and mellow sound.
It is a so-called hit instrument, and you can hit HI C # and HI D without any problems (although it depends on the skill of the player, of course). I don't feel the pitch is particularly unstable, and I think it's a hit Hans Heuer.
As you can see in the picture, there are dents on the whole. Also, the main pipe insertion / removal pipe does not mesh well, and it takes a little trick to insert it. However, since the pitch is good and HI C # etc. hits firmly, I dared to use it without fixing it. Probably, I think it is better not to fix it in the future.
Insertion / removal pipes other than the main pipe can be inserted smoothly.
I've owned it for nearly 40 years, but I've used it for about two years, so Rotary's confidentiality is good.
* The case is included, but one of the chucks on the outer cloth cover is damaged. The hinge of the case itself can be used, so I think there is no problem in using it as usual.
