Henryk Winograd "The Immigrants Coming to Ellis Island" Repoussé .999 Pure Silver Henryk Winograd (circa 1917 - 2008) An 1890’s London newspaper sketch inspired wall plaque/paperweight: “The Immigrants Coming to Ellis Island”. The face closest the Statue of Liberty is fully three-dimensional. This is the same plaque that is in the collection of the "Ellis Island Museum". There is a black felt backing on this piece and it is in MINT CONDITION from the artist's studio. Signed: "COPYRIGHT H. WINOGRAD and "HW999".An impressive and labor intensive 18 fully hand carved figures are depicted in this highly sought after piece. 3.5” x 2.5” x 1.7”
