Original issue 8.5" X 11" size format VERY RARE letterhead correspondence (1921) from Philadelphia Metro Film Exchange Office manager ... advertising the 1920 Metro Studios film Western Serial THUNDERBOLT JACK.  The motion picture series starred Jack Hoxie (1885-1965) & Marin Sais (1890-1971) ... both pictured on the letter head.  This film serial was directed by Francis Ford & released by Metro in 1920.  Jack Hoxie was formerly a Rodeo Performer before starring in Cowboy movies 1913-1933.  He was married to actress / co-star Marin Sais at this time (1920-1925).  Metro Studios was founded in 1915, becoming Metro Goldwyn Mayer / MGM in 1924.  Interesting to see how the letterhead correspondence talks about fulfilling a film rental contract while heralding the next Studio release available to rent.  A movie herald of sorts.
** VERY Rare **    Would look great framed.  Would make a nice gift for a silent movie collector / enthusiast.  This is the type of movie related documentation that almost never gets saved.  104 years old.  Have a few others to list once I see how / if this one sells.
