This listing is for a new precision-machined M42 screw-type lens to Canon EF-mount adapter of black anodized metal construction.  Due to the simplicity of the M42 lens mount and the large selection of lenses, M42 adapters exist for all current and many obsolete lens mounts. The adapter fits between the camera and the lens, making it possible to mate an M42 lens to a body with a different lens mount.  The M42 to EOS adapter ring allows the the use of M42 mount lenses (Zeiss, Pentax, Olympus, Voigtlander, Ricoh, Fujica, Praktica, Mamiya-Sekor, Zenit, Petri, GAF) on all Canon SLR/DSLR cameras with an EF-mount.  There is no ROM connection on the ring so aperture and focus is controlled manually.  It is possible to use Macro lens attachments, filters and other lens accessories.
