    Description

    Beautiful vintage 9.5" plate by Quimper, made in France, with a rooster theme in earthy blue, green and red tones against a very pale blue background. Signed on back, with a mark that dates this plate to sometime from 1969 to 1984. "OF" designates the initials of the artist who handpainted the plate. Not sure what the intended use was for this - it doesn't have a recessed center, like the dinner plates, and I don't think it's a wall plates either - so perhaps a small platter? In very fine condition, with vivid colors and no chips or scratches - looks like it was never used.
