    Hard Rubber
    Made c.1930's
    Good Condition
    Rich Open Tone
This is a vintage bubble shank hard rubber tenor sax mouthpiece with a large round chamber. It probably dates from the 1930's. The only stamps are on the side R4 and FRANCE. The actual tip opening is .069"  or 1.75 mm. It plays with a rich open tone. Slightly diffused. It would make a good match to a vintage horn from the same period. It's a good candidate for refacing if you prefer a bigger tone.
The condition is very good for a mouthpiece this age. There are some ligature scratches and marks on the beak but all minor. The tip and rails are in very good condition.
A ligature and cap are included.
    Thanks for looking!
